You Can’t Outgive God

If you’re reading this, there’s a pretty good chance you got one of our cards. “You Can’t Outgive God” is a little experiment we’re trying. We know the church has a bad reputation with a lot of people these days (sometimes, rightfully so). Televangelist and other ministries seem to always be asking for people’s money. We wanted to ask the question, what would happen if Christians suddenly became radically generous? We believe that rather than hoard our money, Christians should live simply and invest in eternity because God is a giving God who works through us.

Of course, we shouldn’t have to experiment with this idea, it should just happen because we believe Jesus taught all His followers to be radically generous. So, what we’re saying is, whether the gift was large or small, we hope we made your day simply by being what Jesus taught us to be and we hope we can do it again some time!

Welcome to Kids Park

Waite Park kid’s ministry aims to introduce kids to Jesus and to help families grow their kids to be more like him.

We do this by:

     1. Providing a fun environment where kids want to be.
     2. Providing a safe place where they can learn.
     3. Maintaining a well-staffed, high quality ministry.
     4. Providing resources and support for parents and families.
     5. Actively reaching out into our community.

That’s it. That’s our goal. There are three different programs that help us accomplish that. Sunday morning Sunday School at 9:30. Children’s church, during our worship service at 10:45 on Sundays, and our new mid-week ministry on Wednesdays from 6:45-8 pm. But we want our kid’s ministry to not just be ministry to kids, but to the whole family. So over the course of the year, look for classes on parenting, marriage, and financial classes. We hope you’ll come out for the kickoff and enjoy some food on us. If you have questions about the kickoff or about our ministries in general, please feel free to contact us by phone or e-mail. We’re here for you. Come as you are!

COME AS YOU ARE
Whether it’s a bad church experience growing up or the feeling that religion has nothing to offer, people have their reasons for staying away from church. Maybe when you think about the church, you think about things like judgmental people, rules and regulations, or hypocrites. Well we’d like to change that because we believe that’s never what Jesus intended.

Jesus said, “I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.” (John 10:10 MSG) Church should bring life, not steal it. We don’t believe you need to have it all together before you come to church. We say “Come as you are!” We’re not perfect either, we’ll accept you, love you, and we’ll all work on our stuff together.
