The Hunt is On!
The hunt is on…the Waite Park Church community Easter Egg Hunt, that is! This year has been a crazy one with a lot of changed or cancelled plans, so we’re doing our Easter Egg Hunt a little differently for the safety of the kids and families of our community and our neighbors and local businesses are getting in on the fun too! Details on how it's going to work can be found below.
While on-site registration will be available, registering your kids beforehand means less waiting when you come to the Prize Hub. It also means shorter lines and more fun for everyone! We appreciate your effort to make this event as smooth and fun as possible.

Here’s how it’s going to work:
On Saturday, April 3 from 9 AM to 12 PM, neighbors south of 37th Avenue NE and north of St. Anthony Parkway, east of Central Avenue and West of Stinson will put up official Easter Egg Hunt signs that we’ll provide in their yards.
Families will walk, bike, or drive throughout the neighborhood looking for and taking selfies with the signs they spot.
Kids who collect at least 10 selfies and show them off to our team at the Prize Hub (located in the parking lot of Waite Park Church or, in case of rain, inside the church) by 12 PM will get a treat bag filled with candy and other goodies, plus the opportunity to enter for a grand prize drawing! P.S. No camera? No problem! Just grab a piece of paper, write down where you found 10 of our signs, then bring your list to the Prize Hub for a treat bag.
During the hunt, keep your eye out for a few extra special Easter Egg Hunt signs with logos from local businesses on them. If you take a selfie with one of them and present it at the Prize Hub, you can win a gift card to that business! (Quantities are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. But, if we’ve run out by the time your get to the Prize Hub, don’t worry! You’ll be entered into a gift card drawing where one lucky winner will get a gift card to each of the businesses participating in this year’s Easter Egg Hunt!)
Check out the local small businesses we're honored to support!
All children must come with an adult and stay under that adult's supervision.
There will be photographers and videographers at the event. By participating in the event, parents and guardians are consenting to Waite Park Church using photos and video of the event which may include a likeness of their child. This event is open to the public, as such we cannot attempt to regulate the personal use of cameras.
In light of the COVID-19 realities we still face, families will be encouraged to practice social distancing while taking selfies with signs throughout the neighborhood during the Easter Egg Hunt. Appropriate safety measures (masking, sanitizing, and distancing) will be in place at the Prize Hub in accordance with local and CDC guidelines at the time of the event to the greatest degree that is practically possible.

Want to Help?
Neighbors, we need your help to make this year’s Easter Egg Hunt a success. Would you be willing to “host” an Easter Egg Hunt sign? All you have to do is put the sign in your yard during the hours of the egg hunt and take the sign down when the hunt is over! We can even take care of getting the sign to you and picking it up afterwards, so you don’t even have to leave your house. It’s a simple, easy way for you to help the kids in our community get outside and have some fun this Easter!
