Bring your whole family out for Wilderness Escape VBS! Each day you'll become part of history as you see, hear, touch, and even taste what it was like to live in the Bible-times wilderness! You’ll explore the Israelite Camp tents, visit Moses, take part in games, dance to lively Bible songs, and sample tasty tidbits as you discover more about Moses’ adventures. These experiences make God’s Word come alive!
While on-site registration will be available, registering your family ahead of time means less waiting when you arrive and helps us ensure we have all the materials we need for you to join in on the adventure! Thanks for helping us make this event as smooth and fun as possible.

Wilderness Escape Details:
Here’s how it’s going to work:
Wilderness Escape VBS is a family-style experience. It's designed for the whole family to attend together - plus aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, or friends you decide to invite with you! The point is for you to have a blast while having God-centered conversations together. So, rather than making groups of kids from different families, each family is a "group" with the parents or caregivers being the "group leader" (Don't worry. We give you all the tools you need to lead your kids.). It's part of how we want to equip you to disciple your family!
Because we're inviting the whole family, we know that can get tricky with work schedules. So, we're opening up the lawn next to the church parking lot at 5:15 PM each evening as a family picnic zone. You can bring your dinner along, enjoy it together, then take the few steps from there to the sanctuary for the Celebration Time beginning at 5:45 PM each evening. Or, if you'd rather eat at home, that's okay too!
Wilderness Escape can be fun for preschoolers up through kids entering fifth grade. If you need nursery care for younger ones, let us know when you register so we can arrange for childcare.
If you have any questions, let us know. We're happy to help!
Want to Help?
Want to help us make it a memorable week for the kids in our church and community? Here’s a few ways you can help:
Painting sets: No fancy skills required - If you can use a paint roller, you can help!
Dying fabric: We have plain white fabric and dye that we'd provide for you.
Sewing throw pillows: We have the fabric and material, so all we need is your willing hands to sew!
Driving around: We have a few churches who are lending us their decorations and donating some supplies, but need to pick them up.
Lending greenery: We're on the hunt artificial trees, plants, or other greenery to use in decorating.
Don’t see anything on the list that sparks your interest? Keep an eye out for more opportunities in the weeks to come!
