EGG HUNT CANCELED
Hello neighbors. Out of care and concern for our neighbors and city, our Egg Hunt is unfortunately but necessarily canceled.
We agree with and support The Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board's decision to cancel all events of 50 or more through April 30th. Unfortunately this means that the plans for our Egg Hunt have been put on pause. We are hoping to a host a community gathering/event at Waite Park as soon as it is safe and in the best interest of our neighbors to do so.
Thank you for your desire to connect with us and with our neighbors. If you have any needs or desire to get involved check out the link below.
This event is sponsored by Waite Park Church

The Hunt is on!
We are so excited for our second annual Egg Hunt at Waite Park (The Park in the NE Minneapolis neighborhood of Waite Park).
Last year we had great weather and were joined by 300 kids and their families. The event ran smoothly and was a great chance for the neighborhood to come together for a kid focused event.
While on-site registration will be available - registering beforehand means less waiting and more enjoying of our event activities. It also means shorter lines and more fun for everyone - we appreciate your effort to make this event as smooth and fun as possible! Click the button to visit our Eventbrite page.

Egg Hunt Details:
Kids are divided up into appropriate age ranges in different areas of the Park. This makes it safer for younger children to be involved and also allows for a more engaging course for older kids. Participants can expect designated areas for:
"Nursery Age" (0-2 years old)
"Preschool" (3-5 years old)
Kindergarten - 2nd graders
3rd - 5th graders
Courses will have sequential start times so that parent/chaperones can be with their kids at all times. Bags for collecting eggs will be available at registration for free but families are more than welcome to bring their own bags/baskets.
There will be an opportunity for families to drop off empty eggs in collection bins after the event.
Bathrooms will be available in the rec center or at the park's outdoor restroom facility.
All children must come with an adult and stay under that adult's supervision.
There will be photographers and videographers at the event. By participating in the event, parents and guardians are consenting to Waite Park Church using photos and video of the event which may include a likeness of their child. This event is open to the public, as such we cannot attempt to regulate the personal use of cameras.
